British Airways has honoured Skyway Aviation Handling Company PLC (SAHCO) with two Awards. The first is its Lagos station which the renowned British Airways, BA, honoured SAHCO for its outstanding regularity and safety performance in the first and second quarters of 2024 at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos Station and another Award for Punctuality at its Abuja station.
SAHCO won British Airway’s bronze award for achieving its punctuality target of 96% for the second quarter of 2024 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja station.
British Airways (BA) is the global airline of the United Kingdom with its headquarter at Harmondsworth, England, UK near its main hub in London Heathrow Airport. BA being a renowned Airline with over 100 years’ experience in the skies is wholly dedicated to ensuring punctuality, safety and security.
In a congratulatory letter to the Managing Director/CEO of SAHCO, Adenike Aboderin, British Airways commended the Lagos and Abuja teams for their exceptional performance in their abilities to meet or exceed the Adjusted Door Closure (aDC) target of 96% each month during the quarter, with no significant safety events or repeat audit findings, a feat SAHCO has sustained for two consecutive quarters in the Lagos station.
Furthermore, BA congratulated the entire SAHCO team for the remarkable performance attributing the achievement to dedication and hard work.
