WORLD DAY FOR SAFETY OF JOURNALISTS

(International Day to End Immunity for Crimes against Journalists, IDEI)

NOVEMBER 2: IDEI

International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists, IDEI, which in simple terms is; World Day for Safety of Journalists, is a day set aside by UNESCO to remember all kinds of violence and injustice against journalists all over the world. The crux of this remembrance is that such violence and their perpetrators go scot free without justice for their victims. This Day, November 2, calls for an end to every form of crime especially crime with impunity against journalists.

Our journal. Safety&SecurityWatch magazine keyed into this special advocacy since 2015. We mark this Day with a FREE Symposium for journalists on their basic safety and wellbeing while condemning every form of crime or injustice against them.

We call on benevolent individuals and organisations to join forces with us to drive this advocacy by way of supporting it through sponsorship or collaboration or partnership. Call 08161116220 to get involved.
