THERE IS TIME FOR EVERYTHING

It’s time to dance for Chief Asaa and his lolo, Nkechi

About 35 years ago, young and upward looking Mr. Bartholomew Ikeh got employed by the Nigerian Customs Service, NCS, after his education. The service no doubt took him through the length and breadth of the nation offering him lots of opportunity to serve and know about his father land. He also grew in the ranks to end up as Assistant Controller of Customs, ACC, a rank he held until his time was due as age caught up with him and he joins the cream of diamond citizens.

Some went to serve and never completed their services for one reason or the other. Some completed but returned maimed or acquired a debilitating ailment along the line of service; some did not come back at all; but here is a Diamond man, hey, hearty, surrounded with a loving family (acquired while in service), capped with the traditional honour of Asaa (7) 1 of Ndiuhu Automonous Community of Amuzi in Obowu local government area of Imo state among other notable achievements.

His Asaa title which almost replaced his former popular name, Onundiuwa, has a way of attracting and mobilizing people around him wherever he finds himself.

After the Mass and Thanksgiving with pals and relatives

For all these uncommon favour, he deemed it right to thank the Almighty in a very special way, after which he threw up a bash of ball that brought together his friends, associates and admirers including pulling off his home Parish Priest – Rev. Fr. Dr. Mike Obinna Okafor as well as a one-time local government chairman of his Obowu LGA / onetime staff of Nigeria Stock Exchange, High Chief Paschal Okenze  and others who travelled from far and near to celebrate with him in Lagos. To God be the glory.
